Haia is the leader of the Salinvan Guidance Mercenary Gang. He tries to prove that he is better than Layfon "Wolfstein" Alseif but was defeated by him in every encounter. In spite of that, Haia is a very skilled fighter, especially with a katana.
He is the wielder of the Heaven's Blade Wolfstein. He gained the blade because he won the competition to become the wielder and is now known as Haia Wolfstein Lyia.

Haia has short spiky orange hair and grey eyes with a tattoo over his left eye.
Biography[]
Fostered by Ryuhou and after his death, he succeeded him as the third generation Head of the Salinvan Guidance Mercenary Gang. Like Layfon, he shares a fellow discipleship under the Psyharden Sword Technique and is trained since a young age. He is irritated by the fact that Layfon does not use a katana.
According to Fermaus, he was interested in Layfon for a while and wanted to fight against him and alongside him. In his two encounters with Layfon, he was overpowered the first time and was easily defeated the second time. In his first fight with Layfon, Myunfa came to bail him out, and the second fight, he managed to scratch Layfon but lost his katana and suffered a wound. When he encounters some Pollutant Beasts later on, he regains his katana. He enjoys taunting Layfon for being a "former Heaven's Blade wielder." Haia is shown to be very skilled, taking down his share of Pollutant Beasts while the rest of the gang merely distracted the beasts. He later kidnaps Felli in episode 20 in order to have a final duel with Layfon in order to prove he's better than him.
According to Kanaris, the Salinvan Guidance Mercenary Gang was sent to retrieve the Haikizoku. It seemed that Kalian asked the Salinvan Guidance Mercenary Gang to help out with the Pollutant Beast mess that Zuellni is currently in to lessen the stress on Layfon. Fermaus noted that even though Layfon is exhausted, reality points to the fact that Haia is still unable to beat him. During his third battle with Layfon, it is shown his affinity element was fire. He was ultimately defeated by Layfon during their third fight in episode 21.
After his defeat, he left Zuellni with Myunfa and appeared in vol.15 via Karian's request. Together with Myunfa, they served as his escort as they made their way to Glendan.
In Volume 21, he officially became a Heavens Blade Wielder after the Queen and Leerin chose him.
