Mifi Rotten (aka Mify Lotton) is a character in the Chrome Shelled Regios novel and its adaptations. A first year student of Zuellni. Her best friends are Naruki Gerni whom she calls "Nakki" and Mayshen Torinden whom she calls "Meicchi." While she shows enthusiasm in her job, she shows negligence in her studies. Her hobbies are map-making and karaoke. Mifi is also the who came up with Layfon's nickname "Lay-ton." Mifi wants to be a published writer one day.
Appearance[]
Mifi has light, brown hair with two pony-tails and brown eyes. She wears an orange top over a white shirt, green bow-tie, orange skirt and faint, grey boots. Her socks are light-green.
History[]
Missing Mail (Manga)[]
In the manga, Mifi along with Naruki Gerni and Mayshen Torinden are already friends, however it was unconfirmed if they are roommates. She reveals that she along with Naruki and Mayshen came from the Transport City Yoltem for college studies. She aspires to become a writer for either a magazine or a newspaper group in Zuellini but has yet to successfully make it as one. In between, she continues her studies in the social studies dept with Mayshen and occasionally talks to Layfon.
Chrome Shelled Regios (Anime)[]
In the anime, Mifi is a first year student in the Liberal Arts Department. She, along with Naruki and Mayshen are childhood friends from Yoltem. It was established that the three are roommates and friends. With a high penchant for curiosity and a talent for gathering various information, she was able to get herself a part-time job in the editorial department for Weekly Look-in magazine with the pictures she had taken. Due to her connection with Layfon, she is often tasked by her employer to trail him in his exploits along with the 17th platoon as he and his squad-mates become very popular in the inter-platoon combat competitions. In between, she and Naruki often assist Mayshen to help her get closer with Layfon.
